Create a character you'd like to play in Guild Wars and choose a profession for your character.

Complete some quests in Guild Wars to earn money and weapons. To get even better, start training near the River Scales, which are located in the Lakeside County. Stay in training until you advance to the fourth level. While you train, collect all the items the monsters drop.

Sell everything but your dyes when you reach level 4. That leaves you with about 150 g in dyes. Repeat your training as many times as you like with as many different monsters as you like. Different monsters have different levels of difficulty.

Acquire another profession and complete all of the pre-searing quests you can. Once you have, advance on to post-searing, where you can sell your dyes to dye traders. Make sure you are selling your dyes to dye traders, as that is where you can get the most gold in Guild Wars. Only if another player is in a very bad way might you get a better price for your dyes.

Get gold by killing everything in a particular area you wish to target. You might have to recruit a henchman to help you. After you succeed in killing everyone, make sure you get all the loot. You can sell the loot in town and get more gold, but you might consider keeping the wands and shields, as these are actually more valuable than gold. Kits for ID or salvage are also valuable and worth collecting.
