How to Get a Job With Bad High School Grades
If you got bad grades in high school, you may feel that it's the end of the world and nobody will ever hire you. This is not always the case. Many people are still able to get good jobs after performing poorly in high school.

Work with your guidance counselor. Find out your options and see if she can help you with job placement. She may also suggest that you enroll in vocational school.

Consider a job in a trade industry. Many people with poor grades can still do well if they learn a trade after getting out of high school. For example, jobs in construction and plumbing pay very well.

Attend community college. As long as you graduated high school, most community colleges will allow you to enroll. Do well in classes there to redeem yourself and access better jobs.

Get an office job. Even if you got bad grades in high school, many offices will still hire you if you have the ability to perform basic computing skills. You can start off as a data entry operator and move up from there.

Ask your relatives for help. If you have a relative with a good job, ask him to help you find a job in his company.

Remember that employers don't always just consider your grades. They'll also want to look at your volunteer and leadership experience.
Don't feel that a fast food restaurant is your only option if you got bad grades in high school. Once you have some positive work experience, you should be able to find a decent job.
