How to Persuade Parents to Allow Going to a Concert Alone

3. Barter with the parents for the permission to go to the concert alone. For instance, offer to do extra chores around the house for a month or ask to babysit the younger siblings so your parents can have a night out.

4. Gather all the information available about the concert venue and the band or artists performing at the concert. Find out the neighborhood and location of the venue and if the part of town is dangerous or not. Often parents have a misconception about an artist or band, so this is a chance to change their minds.

5. Pay for the ticket yourself. Save up the weekly allowance and purchase it in advance.
