1
Search the Table of Contents at the very front of the Bible. The Contents page is generally on one of the first 3 pages and it lists all the books in the Bible by the page number, and it can list them alphabetically. Find the book you're looking for in the Table of Contents and turn to the page number that corresponds to it.

2
Use the Bible's index. Just look in the back of the Bible for the book that you want to read, find the page number and flip to it.

Create mnemonic devices to help you group books of the Bible together. Once you begin to have a general idea of where the books are, being able to group them together will further help you find a specific book in seconds. For example, "General Electric Power Company" can be a mnemonic device for the books Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians and Colossians in the New Testament. Likewise, "God's Excellent Love Never Dies" can be a device for Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy which are the first 5 books in the Old Testament.

Purchase book title tabs from any Christian bookstore. These are removable plastic tabs that attach to the pages of any bible. You simply attach them to the first page of every book in your bible along the right hand side of the pages. This way, you just glance through the tabs to find the book you're looking for.
