The 360 flip is a basic Tech Deck trick that will help you move on to more difficult stunts. The 360 is a controlled movement in which the tech deck is flipped up, rotated 360 degrees and then flipped once before it lands. The skateboarder uses two fingers to control the action.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy
Step1
Position your index finger between the tech deck logo and the front wheels. The middle finger rests on the back of the tech deck with just a little hanging off the deck.
Step2
Lift the tech deck into the air and create the 360-degree rotation by applying pressure to your middle finger. The more pressure you apply, the higher the tech deck will go and the faster it will rotate.
Step3
Add the flip by straightening your index finger when the board is at approximately 90 degrees. This movement should be gentle to create a single flip. If your board flips more than once, you're using too much force and straightening your finger too quickly.
Step4
Bring your fingers back to the board to control the landing and prevent the tech deck from flipping or rotating more than once.
Step5
Practice this tech deck trick until you've mastered it on a level surface. Then you can try performing it other surfaces, such as ramps and rails.
