How to Do a 180 on an Inline Scooter
Inline scooters like the Razor are light, maneuverable and perfectly suited for doing tricks. Ripped straight from the pages of the skateboarding trick book, the 180 Spin is an intermediate scooter move. The 180 combines a bunny hop with a spin, and the landing can be challenging, since you'll be rolling backwards.

1
Learn a solid bunny hop before attempting the 180 Spin. You'll need ample height and a comfortable landing to safely perform the jump with a twist.
-
2
Find a clear area of pavement or driveway for performing the trick. Make sure there's enough room for you to accelerate into the jump and decelerate afterward.
-
-
3
Ride carefully during the approach. Avoid building up too much speed, which doesn't help you get any higher (unless you're jumping from a ramp).
-
4
Bunny hop into the air. Keep both of your feet planted on the deck and yank the handlebars upward as you leave the ground.
-
5
Twist both your body and the scooter to one side as you jump. Keep your head, shoulders and waist directly over your center of gravity to maintain balance.
-
6
Land facing in the opposite direction you started. It's essential that both wheels to hit the ground at the same time for you to safely land the 180.
-
7
Roll out of the jump for a few feet before flipping your scooter around or stopping.
