How to Perform the Two Balls Transposed Office Magic Trick

The Two Balls Transposed trick is fun to perform around the office during breaks. The intrigue results from employing the sleight of hand magicians have relied on for centuries. Practice this trick until you can perform it with ease.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Begin with four paper balls, all the same size. Make each one about the size of a cotton ball, or use cotton balls for the trick.

  2. Step 2

    Place three of the balls on a flat surface and count them aloud for the audience. Hide the fourth ball in the palm of your right hand before beginning the trick.

  3. Step 3

    Open the left hand, palm up. Carefully pick up one of the balls with your right hand and place it in your left

  4. Step 4

    Add a second ball in your left hand. Drop the hidden ball quickly into your left hand just as closes around the other two balls.

  5. Step 5

    Wave your now empty right hand around palm up. Pick up the third ball from the table and dramatically place it in your right pants pocket. Show that the right hand is now empty again.

  6. Step 6

    Open the left hand and release the three paper balls. Separate them on the table and count them aloud for the audience.

  7. Step 7

    Practice this trick in front of a mirror. Pay particular attention to how the first ball is hidden in your right hand. Reverse these steps for left-handers.
