If you're a man who wants an attractive, healthy head of hair, you should adopt a regular routine that cleans and moisturizes those locks. Regular trips to the barber or local salon will also help, as will the regular application of brush and comb. If you want to really bold, you can even add some color highlights.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Shampoo
  • Conditioner
  • Brush
  • Fine-tooth comb
  • Wide-tooth comb
  • Hair dryer
  • Hair styling gel
  • Tweezers
  • Hair trimming scissors
  • Men’s razor
  • Hair color
  1. Step 1

Choose a haircut that suits your face. Pick a barber or a hairstylist you trust and get a good cut. Pay attention what kind of cut accents your features best. Ask your stylist or barber for advice and trim your hair on a regular basis so it always looks its best.

  2. Step 2

Shampoo and condition your hair regularly. If you have normal hair, you may be able to use a simple 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner. If your hair is longish or dry, using a separate conditioner is a must. Men often skip conditioner, but if you want healthy hair, it's definitely an important part of your routine.

  3. Step 3

Use the right tools for styling. Depending on the length and thickness of your hair, you may need a brush, fine-tooth comb, wide-tooth comb, hairdryer and hair styling gel.

  4. Step 4

Consider adding a hint of color to your hair if it turns gray before you’re ready, or if you just want a change. Find a few hair color products in drugstores, but it’s best to let a professional hairstylist handle a color application. Make coloring your hair a regular part of your hair routine.

  5. Step 5

Keep your facial hair plucked and trimmed. Focus on the space between your eyebrows, your nose hairs and the hair in your ears. You can trim your nose hair and ear hair with trimming scissors, but you have the option of plucking the hair between your eyebrows with tweezers or shaving with a razor. Plucking the hair makes the area smoother for a longer period.
