How to Dispose of Paper

It is amazing that even with computers there is still so much paper. We use the stuff for work, school and daily activities. After a while we need to dispose of some of it, or we'll be buried under all that clutter.

Instructions

1. Clean up the paper in your office. Separate papers that are confidential from those that aren't. Shred any confidential papers before disposing of them.

2. Recycle the papers that are not confidential or toss them in the trash can.

3. Organize your home and gather all the paper that you need to throw away. Shred personal information, and then recycle white unglossy paper. Throw away magazines unless your service accepts them in a recycling bin.

4. Put paper into a compost bin. This is a good way to use the paper to benefit your garden and the environment.

5. Use the paper when you pack a box for mailing. Stuffing paper around the items that you are mailing protects them from breakage during transport.

6. Be original. Rather than dispose of the paper, keep it for your children. They can use it to paint or color and you may find you have a budding artist. You can donate usable paper to schools where children can use it for artwork.

7. Reuse the paper by putting it back into your printer and using the clean side for printing new information.
