How to Create a Snowman Using Adobe Photoshop

In Adobe Photoshop, a user can alter, combine and create new images. Photoshop brings a professional image studio to the home computer. Creating a new image from scratch takes only a few minutes.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Step1
Open Adobe Photoshop. Click on the "Start" button in the main operating system menu. Select "Programs" or "All Programs" from the Start menu. Choose "Adobe Photoshop" from the programs menu.
Step2
Create a new canvas in Adobe Photoshop. Click on "File" from the menu and then choose "New." Choose the appropriate canvas size.
Step3
Determine the number of levels for the snowman. The traditional number is 3, but the specific amount is up to you.
Step4
Select the "Ellipse" tool from tool bar menu. Draw the predetermined number of levels of the snowman in the form of an oval. Find this tool in the shape tool menu below the test tool. To change it, right-click the mouse and choose the "Ellipse" tool. Place each successive level on top of each other and overlap each one slightly. Make each level smaller than the last.
Step5
Pick a background color and make the inside of the snowman circles white. Click on the "Paint bucket" tool in the left menu panel and select the appropriate color. Click on the image to change the color.
Step6
Shade the snowman by clicking on the "Layers" tab. TChoose "Inner Shadows" from the layers menu. Experiment with the shading until you are satisfied.
Step7
Click on the "Pencil Tool" in the left side menu panel and hold down the mouse to draw the snowman’s facial features, coal buttons and arms.
