How to Make a House for a Pet Wonky

1
Find a cardboard box, such as a kids' shoebox or a box for packaging snack foods. If the box has a lid, remove it. If it doesn't have a lid cut off one side so that you can reach inside the box.
-
2
Cover the box with construction paper, wrapping paper or newspaper depending on how your want the house to look. Use a small amount of glue to fix the paper and tape around the edges for a clean edge. Let the glue dry.

-
3
Cut a hole large enough for your pet wonky to enter the house. You can also cut windows into the box.
-
4
Decorate the outside of the house using markers, pipe cleaners, buttons or any other craft materials.
-
5
Add furniture to the inside of the house, either by adding smaller items, like an empty matchbox for a bed. Or you can use markers to draw furniture onto the interior of the box.

Tips & Warnings
Your pet wonky house can be as simple or elaborate as you like. Anytime you want to revisit this craft, you can add additional rooms to the house by constructing additional houses and connecting them with cardboard tubes from toilet paper or paper towel rolls.
