Glitching is a way to explore new places in Halo 2. If you want to see unexplored areas of Headlong and snipe your enemies you can glitch out of maps, but you'll need to use a partner or a guest and a sword.

Difficulty: Challenging
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Acquire sword-faking skills in Halo 2 then get a sword and a partner. Push "R" on the controller, and then "X." Lunge and verify that you didn't harm your partner.

  2. Step 2

Select Wraiths as your primary vehicle to transport you to Headlong. Go to the bridge that Ghosts and Warthogs use for a jump. Center the Wraith directly in front of the start of the incline.

  3. Step 3

Put your partner on the bridge. Have him bend and walk backwards to the top of the bridge. Keep him walking even when he tries to stop at the crack in the bridge.

  4. Step 4

Drive the Wraith onto the bridge and toward your partner in the center. Push the "L" button and run directly into him. He will fly up and into a new, unknown part of Headlong.

  5. Step 5

Enter a guest into the game and repeat the Steps with him. This time have him help you glitch out of maps and into a new area of Headlong so you have a chance to explore this part of the game.

Tips & Warnings
  • To climb ledges in the New World, hold your reticle in the air above your partner and have him jump up. To get on really high ledges, sword-fake your partner while he is in the air. This will make you fly up and over.
