Guide the skateboard toward the ramp with the speed required to get up the ramp.

Ride the skateboard up the ramp, managing your speed so that you don't ride over the coping.

Lift the skateboard’s front wheels so that they stop just over the ramp’s coping.

Shift your body weight until you feel the skateboard deck hit the coping.

Step 5
Bend your knees and distribute your weight, balancing the skateboard at the top of the deck. Place one foot on the tail and the other on the nose of the board.

Step 6
Keep the skateboard rested at the top of the ramp while continuing to balance for as long as you want to hold the stall.
