Ringtone Media Studio is software that enables users to make ringtones and wallpaper for over 800 different cell phones. Users can choose and edit music clips and video from mp3s, CDs and other media to create unique sounds and images. Personalize your tone and never again wonder if that phone ringing is yours.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Buy and install Ringtone Media Studio on you computer. You can register the software as a part of the install or wait until later. You will also be prompted to setup your cell phone. A setup wizard will walk you through the process.

  2. Step 2

Start Image Studio. Click on the Studio that you will be using: image, video or lyrics. Roll your mouse over the toolbar buttons one at a time to view their function. Select the image you wish to work with by highlighting it. The “My Images” tab will default to your “My Pictures” folder. The “My PC” tab allows you to search the rest of your hard drive for files you want to work with.

  3. Step 3

Use the “Crop” button listed in the Selection menu to resize images. Choose “Effects” to alter colors or warp a picture into different shapes. If you don’t like your choice, just hit the “Undo” button and it goes back to the previous screen. Use frames and symbols to add character to your pictures.

  4. Step 4

Choose part of a song and make it a ring tone. Left-click and hold the button down, then drag from the beginning of the selection to the end. Use the arrows on the Toolbar menu to adjust the song selection to the left or right. Use the “Fade In/Out” button at the beginning and end of your selection to give your tune a smooth start and finish.

  5. Step 5

Save your new file once you've edited a file to your satisfaction. If you're saving to the same directory, rename the edited file so as not to overwrite the original.

  6. Step 6

Transfer the new file to your phone by clicking the green right arrow “Transfer to Phone” button at the top of the menu. The phones you've installed will show up in the “Send to” field. Select the phone you want and click “Next” until you see the screen that says "Connecting."
