Being popular and athletic is not as difficult as you may think. In most schools, athletes are considered the popular students but this is not true in all schools. However, if you are an athlete and you want to be popular also, simply follow the steps below.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Continue to be good at your sport. The first step of popularity is to be popular with your teammates. You should encourage your teammates in wins and losses. If you do this, they will start respecting you. Try to be team captain. This position is both respectable and popular.

  2. Step 2

Appreciate your physique. Girl athletes seem to have more problems with this because they may be taller and more muscular than their friends. Do not be embarrassed about your body. Confidence is an important step in popularity and that means liking yourself for who you are.

  3. Step 3

Dress the best. This does not mean you have to dress up everyday but you should wear skirts and cute jeans if you are a girl, and slacks if you are a boy. You can also pattern your dress style around the popular kids at your school.

  4. Step 4

Hang out with popular kids after games and events. This will allow them to see that you are more than just an athlete.

  5. Step 5

Invite these same popular students to your games. They will probably appreciate you and your sport a lot more if they were able to see it first hand.
