1
Climb stairs to build your butt. Using a stairmaster while doing your cardio workout has the added benefit of targeting your glutes. Do step-ups on a step while you lift weights for an extra butt workout.
-
2
Walk and lunge while holding either dumbbells or a barbell with weight on it. When you lunge, be careful not to extend your knee past your toe. Bend down so that your knee is bent to a 90-degree angle. Walk into each lunge so that you alternate which leg you're working.
-
3
Learn to do a squat with proper form. You can hold weights once you're comfortable with the exercise. Keep your feet shoulder width apart and sit back like you're sitting down in a chair. Go down as far as you can without falling and stand back up, squeezing your butt as you come back up.
-
4
Working out on a leg-press machine at the gym will have your butt bikini ready in no time. Do as many reps as you can on a moderate weight, paying careful attention to both your form and focusing the exercise on your glutes.
-
5
Do hamstring curls on the hamstring curl machine. There are lying and sitting machines that will work your hamstrings slightly differently. Use both if you can, lifting to failure in each set.
-
6
Stretch out thoroughly after each workout. Stretching helps reduce post-workout muscle soreness and helps with muscle repair. This means that you can get back into the gym and repeat your great butt workout sooner.
