Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Blender
  • Measuring cups
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 4 scoops vanilla ice cream (or other light colored ice cream)
  • 3/4 cup canned pineapple juice
  • 1/2 banana
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • Strawberry syrup
  • Clear glasses
  1. Step 1

Gather all your ingredients. Then put all of the ingredients except the whole milk and strawberry syrup into a blender.

  2. Step 2

Blend the ingredients together on low to medium speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy. This may take only a few seconds, depending on the type of blender you have.

  3. Step 3

Make it extra gooey. Once the mixture is creamy, add a few extra spoonfuls of ice cream. The thick chunks will add to the texture and creepy feeling of the drink.

  4. Step 4

Pour the mixture into tall, clear glasses. So far, it just looks like a regular milkshake, but the next step pumps up the spooky factor.

  5. Step 5

Place the whole milk in a saucepan over medium heat. Heat it to boiling, watching it carefully to make sure that it doesn't scorch.

  6. Step 6

Put together the milkshake. Add to the top of each milkshake a bit of the hot milk and then a drizzle or two of strawberry syrup. The cold and warm milk should begin to separate in ghostly shades and the red syrup will resemble blood to equal one spooky milkshake.
