How to Get Rid of In-Laws

In-laws are known for over-staying their welcome, eating all your food and nagging you to the point of insanity. If they've been around for weeks, and you can't figure out how to get them to go home, there's hope. Here are a few things you can do to get rid of your in-laws and make sure they don't come back for a long time.

Instructions

    • 1

Stop feeding them. When the fridge gets empty, don't bother shopping. They'll either take you out to dinner or get the hint and pack their bags. Either way, you win.

    • 2

Become a really bad cook. If the family refuses to go out to dinner, a little dose of food poisoning may be in order. After a few days of throwing up, they'll be more than happy to head back home for a bit of rest and relaxation.

    • 3

Give them chores. Grandma can get down on her hands and knees or scrub the toilet. Great Aunt Ida can mow the lawn. Once you give your in-laws chores to do for you, see how long they last before they pack up the motorhome and go home.

    • 4

Create an emergency. No one wants to flood their own basement, but desperate times call for desperate measures. Make sure your homeowner's insurance policy is up to date before you start breaking pipes.

    • 5

Tell them their dog died or their house is on fire. Help them pack their stuff as they run out the door.

    • 6

Get divorced. That will show them who's boss.

no don't let the door hit U where the dog shoulda bit U LuLu12 because dealing with these in laws are no walk in the park. It's just too much unnecessary stress on people who just want to be in love and raise their own families.

My mother in law has been staying with us ever since we are married. We move out of the our old house thinking that we will finally break free and have a normal married life. But guess what? She moved out and move in to our new house. At first, at I thought my father-in law just past away so she needs time to adjust. She gave an excuse that she was afraid to stay alone.Note that, we employed a maid while my father in law was sick and when he died, I thought the maid would company her but instead she gave the maid up and said why do I need a maid now I can live with you. This is our 10th years of marriage and I am so sick of her!
