How to Make Arms Thicker

Big arms are a sign of strength, fitness and give the appearance of power. Build up your muscles by weight lifting and proper nutrition. It takes a lot of dedication and patience to make your arms look thicker, but if you work hard and stick with it, you'll be happy with the results.

  • Build muscle mass by strength training your arms several times a week. Rest your muscles for 48 hours in between sessions. Always stretch after your workout to avoid muscle soreness and aid in muscle recovery. This will improve your overall performance.

  • Get plenty of protein when you body build. A healthy diet that is high in protein helps you build and sustain muscle mass. Drink a protein shake before and after your workout for a quick and easy dose of protein. Be sure to hydrate adequately throughout your workout.

  • Train your biceps, lifting to failure, to make your arms thicker. Use both a barbell and dumbbells to do bicep curls. Lift heavy enough weight that you fail out by your twelfth repetition.

  • Make your triceps larger to make your arms looks as big as possible. Your triceps are on the back of your arms and look impressive when they are large and cut. Do tricep extensions, skull crushers and dips to build your triceps.

  • Wear the right shirts to show off your bigger arms. Your arms will look bigger in a very fitted t-shirt or tank top. Better yet, go topless or in a bikini top.

Tips & Warnings

  • Be careful with supplements that promise larger muscle mass. The safest way to build muscle is naturally over time, working hard for your own progress.
