Things You'll Need:
- Lotion
- Butter knife
- Powdered blush
- Small container with tight fitting lid
-
Step 1
Choose a lotion that will be the base of your liquid blush makeup. While any lotion will do, you might enjoy the subtle fragrance of a scented lotion, or can even use sunscreen to help protect your skin. Make sure that your lotion is right for your skin tone and will not cause irritation.
-
Step 2
Place 1 tbsp. of your chosen lotion in a small dish and then using a butter knife, carefully scrape some of your powdered blush into the lotion. Add a little bit of powder at a time and then stir thoroughly.
-
Step 3
Test your blush on the back of your hand, working the liquid blush into the skin until completely absorbed. If you prefer a darker blush, add a bit more powder to the lotion. If you would like a lighter tone, add more lotion. Continue the process until you have found your perfect liquid blush color to complement your skin tone and other makeup.
-
Step 4
Transfer your new liquid blush to a small container with a tight fitting lid. Apply a little bit to your cheeks at a time, working the lotion and blush powder mixture into your skin with circular motions. Add a bit more if necessary, and enjoy the natural and long lasting look of your new makeup.
