A hipporoller is a device designed to easily transport up to 20 gallons of water at a time and improve the quality of life for millions of people in undeveloped countries. Many of these people must walk miles every day to get the water they need. There are two basic options; to use to get a hipporoller for yourself or to distribute them.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging

Import a Hipporoller from South Africa

Step1
Decide how many hipporollers you would like to purchase or donate. Be sure to set aside extra funds for shipping costs.
Step2
Contact Imvubu Projects, CC in South Africa. Currently, all hipporollers are manufactured in South Africa and must be imported. Please find the contact information for Imvubu Projects in the resources section of this article.
Step3
Import the hipporoller from South Africa. The shipping costs for hipporollers are high due to their bulky size. A 20 foot container can hold about 175 hipporollers and a 40 foot container can ship up to 350 hipporollers.

Manufacture Your Own Hipporoller

Step1
Find a donor to back the project financially. Most communities that need hipporollers are terribly poor so they will not be able to compensate you for the costs of supplies, manufacturing and distributing. Making hipporollers is a labor of love.
Step2
Establish a license agreement with Imvubu Projects, CC to manufacture hipporollers. Once an agreement has been made, a plant and complete training can be provided for making the hipporollers. Find the contact information in the resources section below.
Step3
Manufacture the hipporollers according to Imvubu Projects' guidelines. Import raw materials to the plant where manufacturing and distribution occurs.
