When you're out eating or having a couple of drinks, a waitress may catch your eye. If you think you may have a shot with her, you can flirt with her to see if she's interested in you as well.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Consider your dining companions. Before you start flirting with a waitress, decide if it's the right time. Your friends may not appreciate your antics while trying to enjoy their meal. When you're alone is probably the best time.
Step2
Strike up a conversation with her. Remark on something about the food or service of the restaurant. Give her a nice compliment without being overly forward.
Step3
Gauge her response. If she seems interested, then continue flirting. Otherwise, leave her alone. She may get hassled often and wants to be left alone. Apologize and quickly finish your meal.
Step4
Give her time to serve her other customers. Continue the banter each time she comes to your table, but don't monopolize her time.
Step5
Leave a generous tip. You don't have to go crazy, but try to leave more than the standard amount. If you're feeling brave, leave your phone number along with the check.

Tips & Warnings

  • Remember that waitresses rely on tips from their customers. She may only flirt with you to get a good tip.
  • You should try to leave on friendly terms even if she was put off by your flirting. You don't want to feel awkward if you tend to eat at the restaurant often.
