Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • iRobot Create
  • Digital camera
  1. Step 1

Purchase an iRobot Create on the iRobot website for $130 and up.

  2. Step 2

Develop your robot's capabilities on your computer and download the demands to iRobot Create. Robots are judged on the complexity and usefulness of the task they perform, their aestheticism, and how intelligent and entertaining they are.

  3. Step 3

Compile your entry by writing a clear and concise report of how you developed your idea and the steps you took to bring it to life. Include a summary introduction. List any parts and tools you used and safety requirements for your robot. Take clear photographs of all the components. The judges prefer photos to be at least two megapixels.

  4. Step 4

Enter your robot by going to the Instructables website. Select "New Instructable" from the "Submit" menu at the top of the page. After adding your text and photos, the site asks you to add your entry to a group. Select the "iRobot Group."

Tips & Warnings
