An iPod Nano isn't cheap. These small MP3 players often sell for a couple hundred dollars or more. Therefore, you want to protect your investment by keeping it safe from thieves. Use these tips to hide your iPod Nano inside your car.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Lock your iPod Nano inside your glove box. If you have a lockable glove box or center console, place the MP3 player inside to keep it locked up and hidden when you're not using it.

  2. Step 2

Place it under your seat. If you're nervous about someone grabbing the iPod from your car, then slide it under your seat before you leave the car.

  3. Step 3

Hide it inside an empty cigarette carton. Since iPod Nanos are small, safely tuck it away from view using a cigarette carton. An empty box of gum or candy works as well. Keep the carton or box in your cup holder or ashtray.

  4. Step 4

Throw the iPod Nano in your trunk. If you're in a rush and can't take the time to hide it well, just lock the MP3 player with your other belongings in the trunk.

Tips & Warnings
  • If it's very cold inside your car, the iPod Nano display may take a few minutes to warm up and work correctly.
  • Don't hide your iPod Nano in your car where it's exposed to direct sunlight. The sunlight damages the device if left for a long period of time.
