There are many ways to share your information on the Internet. Create an AIM page and tell the world a bit about who you are. Put as little or as much information as you like and update regularly, as events unfold in your life.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Log into AIM or create an AIM account if you don't already have one. Create your account on this page by clicking the link "Get a Screen Name."

  2. Step 2

Click on the "Create a Profile" link located on the main AIM account page. You will see a blank screen with two words at the top that say "About Me."

  3. Step 3

Write about yourself in that box. Include anything you want to share about yourself such as your interests and hobbies.

  4. Step 4

Choose different colors for your text from the test formatting tools located at the top of the box. You may bold or italicize your writing, change colors and change font size and style.

  5. Step 5

Check the "Personal Details" box and share your first name and other details if you wish. You may also add your photo by clicking the "My Photo" button.

  6. Step 6

Look at the rest of the AIM control buttons. Add interests and other features if you wish by choosing the button and filling out the form you find.

  7. Step 7

Finish the page by clicking the "Save Changes" button at the bottom of the screen. You can then preview what you wrote and make changes.

Tips & Warnings
  • Remember that anyone can read your profile once you make it public. Do not share information such as address and phone number since anyone could read this and obtain this information. General information, such as what state you are in, is fine to share.
