Step1
Ask your guests to RSVP, or tell you if they are coming to your party. Invite a different group of teen boys to your party if the ones on your list decline the invitation. Call a relative or friend's brother and ask them to bring friends if equal numbers of boys and girls are crucial for the party's success.
Step2
Select activities for the party that does not depend on an equal number of boys and girls. Entertain your guests with computer or trivia games that appeal to both teen boys and girls.
Step3
Include the boys at the party in all of the activities. Make the guys "Honorary Girls" for the evening and include them in your conversations. Appreciate the boys that do attend and do not whine about the boys that stayed home. Make your male guests feel welcome and special.
Step4
Keep the tone of the party friendly even if some of your guests date each other. Prevent the party from splitting into a couple's party or a girl's party. Keep the group together and suggest romance wait until later. If necessary, ask parents to help keep the tone of the party friendly.
Step5
Try line and group dancing to keep everyone comfortable. Make the music upbeat and save the slow dances for another time. Teach the whole group a new dance using a video or ask a friend to play dance leader.
