After a while life can become boring to some people. The challenge to do something new may sound interesting and pique your curiosity. But the motivation to get up and go is lacking. You could just need a little inspiration and some positive thinking to set you on the right track.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Step1
Think of things that interest you. Feel your passion and what moves you in life. Thinking along these lines will help discover what new challenges could be on the horizon for you.
Step2
Stay focused on the task. Once you've decided on an idea to do something new don't lose sight of the goal. Get ready to begin your new challenge and start planning how to achieve it.
Step3
Motivate yourself. Write down what you have planned. If it is an educational class you want to attend put the day on the calendar and sign up before it is too late. You'll feel proud of yourself once you complete the class.
Step4
Join a ceramics or pottery class. Find a hobby that you enjoy and jump right in. Research some hobbies and determine what interests you the most.
Step5
Enrich your mind and soul. Read a great book that sparks your curiosity in the book store. Choose one that would not ordinarily be of your taste. The fact that it is new and different will be inspiring.
Step6
Learn a new language. Even if you won't be traveling any time soon it is a real challenge to learn a language. Who knows, this might be the beginning of a trip to out of the country in the future.
Step7
Give yourself permission to change your mind. If your new idea isn't going so well than don't despair. Allow yourself to do something entirely different. The idea of making a new choice can be spontaneous and fun.
