How to Get Level 99 Hunter in RuneScape
Building the Hunter level in Runescape may require the most variety of equipment to perform your task. You'll also need to change your location and prey as your level builds if you want to reach level 99 as quickly as possible.
Instructions

1
Buy your hunting equipment at the hunter shop in Yanille--at least a butterfly net, five bird snares, six box traps, one or two noose ropes and 10 to 20 butterfly jars. This should all cost 301 gold pieces.
-
2
Head to the museum in Varrock and talk to Orlando downstairs. You can go from level 1 to 9 if you perform his task.

3
Start hunting Copper Longtails in the Woodland Hunter area. You can include Ruby Harvests at level 15 and set two traps at once at 20. Continue in the Woodland Hunter area until you reach level 29.
-
4
Move to the hunter spot southwest of Canifis and hunt swamp lizards to reach level 47. You'll be able to set three traps by level 40.
-
5
Switch to Orange Salamanders in the desert northwest of the Temples of Uzer. This will be the fastest way to reach level 59 because you'll get 224 experience points for catching them.
-
6
Hunt Red Salamanders in the Shrine of Scorpius until you reach level 65. You'll be able to set four traps at level 60.
-
7
Go to the west side of the Feldip Hills (where the screen turns black) and hunt Red Chinchompas all the way to 99. You'll need to set four box traps and will probably need to bait or smoke them.

Tips & Warnings
You should get woodland hunting clothing once to start hunting Ruby Harvests.
You can't go to Canifis (where the swamp lizards are) until you complete the Priest in Peril quest.
Take a knife and water skins for your stay in the desert.
You'll have a ton of Red Chinchompas once you reach Level 99. You can use them for Range level experience or sell them for 600 to 800 gold pieces each.
