How to Dress for a Curvaceous Look
When you properly dress for a curvaceous look, attention is brought to the areas you want to highlight and drawn from the areas you want to hide. There are some tricks to enhance the natural curves you have, like making your waist look smaller and your legs look longer, while at the same time disguising any problem areas.

1
Cinch your waist. Do this by using belts--wide or skinny. Adding a belt to any outfit makes the waist look small and accentuates the curves of your hips and upper body.
-
2
Choose proper length tops. Wear tops that end at your hip bones or slightly below to highlight the hourglass figure of your body. Wearing shirts that end above the hips will make your hips and bust look wider than they are.

3
Go for V-neck shirts to elongate the neckline and balances out small calves on the lower body.
-
4
Dress for a curvaceous look with knee-length or calf-length skirts. Skirts that end at the knee or calf have more material than shorter skirts and thereby provide balance between your curvy upper body, hips and your legs.
-
5
Select the right cut for your pants. Boot-cut, straight-cut and wide-leg jeans and pants also provide balance between your upper body and hips and your legs. Flared jeans or pants make your hips look wider and create an overall unbalanced look for your entire body.

Tips & Warnings
Pay attention to belt placement. Wide belts should wrap around your natural waistline and skinny belts should sit around your hips. This belt placement enhances natural curves and the wide belt will help hide any tummy bulges.
Choose silks and satins wisely. These materials tend to accentuate every bump, ripple and bulge. If you must have silk or satin in your wardrobe, choose soft billowy tops.
Don't hide behind your clothing. This means nothing too big or baggy on you. You will look shapeless and bigger than you really are.
