1
Begin by drawing a large, perfectly round circle. This will serve as Kirby's body, so keep in mind how he'll fit into the picture and size the circle accordingly.
-
2
Draw two slightly elongated half circles as Kirby's arms. Position them high on his body. Most of the time Kirby's arms reach enough to resemble ears. If he'll be holding an object, you can position the arms further down his body for clarification that they're indeed arms rather than ears.

3
Color his body and arms light pink.
-
4
Sketch two eyes made of long, thin ovals in a North to South position. At the top of the ovals, draw two tiny, round circles to serve as pupils. Leave the pupils white. Outline the pupils with a black iris and color the remainder of his eyes blue.
-
5
Add two feet, again with elongated half circles. The feet must be slightly larger and more pointed than the ears. Color the feet orange, dark pink or red.
-
6
Place a small mouth beneath Kirby's eyes. The mouth is often a half circle with a red tongue showing, but simple black lines indicating a smile or a frown are also commonly used.
-
7
Finish drawing Kirby by adding two dark pink cheeks. The cheeks must be elongated ovals facing East to West. If desired, add accessories such as clothing or something in his hands.

Tips & Warnings
To show Kirby on the move, draw one foot as an elongated circle in front of his body. This gives the appearance of the bottom of one foot as he runs.
