Participating in the Tour de France is a challenge for the cyclists. Fans cheering for them and showing support for the cyclists often gives the cyclists a boost in confidence and will power. Many cyclists have said that they were able to complete the Tour de France only because of the tremendous support of their fans.

Instructions

    • 1

Buy licensed apparel and other items that showcase your favorite Tour de France cyclist. A portion of the profits from licensed items will go to finance the cyclist's training and trip to the Tour de France.

    • 2

Support the cyclist's sponsors. The more money a sponsor makes, the greater the contribution they can make to the cyclist.

    • 3

Write a letter to the cyclist. You can usually find an address online for the cyclist's fans to mail letters of support.

    • 4

Make a donation to the charities that your favorite Tour de France cyclist supports. Give the donation in his name with your name as the donor. You can mail a copy of the pledge to the cyclist.

    • 5

Start a blog to show your support. You can use the blog to find other supporters and to applaud his accomplishments.

    • 6

Begin a fan club. Find out if the cyclist has an official fan club. If he does, start or join a local chapter.

    • 7

Cheer for the cyclist on the sidelines of the Tour de France. Make sure to make your travel plans far in advance. Wear clothing that shows your support for the cyclist when you are cheering for him.

I keep yelling go faster Lance but I don't think he can hear me. He just keeps staying with the PELOTON...I think he's saving it for the last 2 stages.
