How to make Barbecue Grilled Chicken

This chicken takes a bit longer then the other grilling recipes that I have posted but the taste can not be replaced. There is something to be said about both cooking in an oven and transferring to a hot charcoal grill. Yum!

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging

Things You’ll Need:

  • 1 chicken divided into 8 pieces
  • 2 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon instant minced onion
  • 2 tablespoon Worcestershire or A-1 sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dry or 2 tablespoons prepared mustard
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar

Step1
Preheat the oven to 350F. Place the chicken in a glass baking dish that has been coated with vegetable oil spray. Add any optional dried herbs. Cook for 25 minutes.
Step2
Meanwhile, in a mixing bowl, stir together the remaining ingredients. Preheat the grill to medium heat.
Step3
Coat the chicken with the sauce mixture and place on the grill. Grill for 15 to 20 minutes, flip and continue to cool until the juices run clear.

Tips & Warnings

  • This is best served with corn on the cob or baked mac and cheese.
  • Never leave the stove or grill unattended.
