Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Research your name. Verify the meaning of your name of several websites for accuracy. If you are able, research your full name together for a complete analysis. Compare your findings with your actual life events to see how your name affects your personal awareness.
Step2
Find out your family history by researching your genetics. A major part of knowing who you are is knowing where you came from. Though this DNA test can be costly, knowing your family's origins and experiences will give you a better understanding of your current trials.
Step3
Establish your career goals. It is hard to be aware of who you are when you are not chasing your dream. Begin the process during Personal History Awareness Month to start your new history.
Step4
Clean out your closet. Be upfront with people from your past who may be affecting your future. Forgive them and move on so that you may know yourself better.
Step5
Begin a daily journal. Record large and small events in a journal that you keep in a secure place. Over the coming years, take the time each year to read over your journal during Personal History Awareness Month to see how much you have grown.
