People looking for a church normally do not know what they are getting into until they are deep into it. A superficial church can distract people form their real goal of worshiping. Learn to identify a Shallow and Superficial church. The church may not be for you.

• Be a good observer

1. As soon as you walk in you notice that everyone is wearing the latest fashions normally found at social clubs.
2. The majority of the people are carrying coffee and donuts into the service and a little black book that is not the bible.
3. What seems to be like people praying is indeed people talking to their blue tooth.
4. You inadvertently start referring to the service as "The Show".
5. There is no reverence but bunch of people talking and laughing in the aisles of the church.
6. The church is too big so they have to offer video church. This is where the pastor is not actually there, just a video of the previous service.
7. It closes on Christmas Day.
8. Reverence to God and Spirituality is not number one, but technology, programs, coffee, convenience, and fashion is.
