If you'd like to use internet cafes, or would just like to keep your online activities private, this is a great, no-cost way to do so.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
There are many reasons for wanting to surf anonymously. If you use an open wi-fi connection, or would just like to keep your online activity private, you may want to consider using a program that allows anonymous browsing.
Step2
There a few options available for this, but I recommend Xerobank (link below) because I use Mozilla Firefox as my standard browser and it is a special version of this browser. It runs directly from a USB drive, just plug in the USB Stick and Firefox V2 automatically runs for private surfing.
Step3
Xerobank also provides additional security because it provides a secure connection between your computer and the server.

Tips & Warnings

  • There are other browsers that provide the private internet activities, you can research JAP or OperaTor. Both of these offer privacy and vary just a bit from each other.
  • Do a simple search of the available programs before making the choice as to what is best for you.
