Step 1
First you will want to do the training portion of the game before you start playing the songs which start from settings: Easy, Medium, hard, and Expert.

After clicking into training do the tutorials first. This will teach you how to control the guitar and what the meanings of the color coded fret mean.

Step 3
After you have established this go into practice. This is where you will select the easy level. Choose to play the bass or the guitar. Pick a song from the list and choose to practice from the slowest setting.

After mastering the slowest you can go to slower and move up settings. After this is established you are ready to quick play or career play.

Step 5
Quick play is where you just play the songs for fun and earn points. You can choose from easy, medium, hard, and expert.

Step 6
Career choice is where you get to name your band and move up through levels and go on tour. This is the harder route. Your goal is to become a guitar hero!
