How to decorate a teens room (girl)

is your teen outgrowing there present room? complaining : mom its ugly , mom can you help decorate , dad can i have money to decorate? well you've come to the right place ... a teen is starting 7th grade or sec. 1 [ she needs comfort , privacy, fun and some company.]

Things You’ll Need:

• a budget
• paint
• furniture
• a computer
• a teen
• and some extra decorations

1. paint : let your child choose the color , tell them that they can have anything they want except for black or red : black and red cause depression to a person . For a girl i would suggest a light blue or a nice light green . any light and joyful color is relaxing.
2. furniture: you know teen girls love shopping so i may suggest a large closet to put all her clothing and in a corner of your teens choice you can place a nice relaxing beanbag put a desk with a computer so she can enjoy herself on the net . why not add a nice rug beside the bed so when she gets out of bed she won't freeze her feet on the floor. hang a miror up so she can try on her clothing.
3. decorations : why not let your child enjoy his wall with a nice poster of their favorite star . trust me they like it! well you know your child has lots of stuff that hogs up space in their room so why not get little boxes or baskets and put them in the closet so when your kid will want something they'l know where it is .
4. Most importantly ask if your child likes it . in your point of view she would mabey not like it but if you let her place her things around i think she will love it!

• becareful when you paint to open then windows because the smell is toxic
