Most People realize that certain foods have positive or negative affects on everything from your metabolism to your bodies ability to prevent cancer. What most of us don't realize, is that much of this is determined by our blood type.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • You will need to stock your refrigerator full of all the foods which are friendly for "O" blood type. You may need a trash bag to throw away all the other stuff.
Step1
Limit wheat as much as possible. Wheat is one of the worst things for "O" blood type. Most of us are actually mildly allergic to it and never realize it unless we have made the connection that all the grain we have been eating on our latest diet, has actually caused us to GAIN weight. You are not imagining things, your metabolism is slowed down by wheat. The more you eat, the more sluggish your metabolism will become.
Step2
Know what vegetables work for you. Forget about the ones that work against you. There are plenty of health benefits in the vegetables that are friendly for "O" blood-type. You should get your daily dose of physiochemical and fiber from almost anything green. While spinach and broccoli is not only good for you, it will also help you shed extra pounds. Corn, cabbage, cauliflower, and Brussels sprouts only slow down the break-down of fat and are just too hard for you to digest.
Step3
Get your caffeine fix from green tee instead of coffee. "O" blood-types are very prone to ulcers and coffee will only trigger this. If your trying to get your protein intake and/or loose weight then hit the shellfish isle. Shellfish contains a natural sours of Iodine which will help your thyroid function properly, which is more then likely low if you have "O" blood-type. Take calcium supplements instead of having a glass of milk. Dairy is not friendly for "O" blood-type. Try soy milk for your cereal.

Tips & Warnings

  • Try Ezekiel bread to avoid wheat gluten which is the worst wheat product for us. It can be found at most Grocery stores by the specialty foods and is always refrigerated. You can also find the recipe in the Bible (Ezekiel 4:9)
  • Be careful of pre-packaged food, even ones designed to help you loose weight. Most of these products contain a lot of wheat. Cutting back on Wheat products will likely reduce your overall carbohydrate intake. Not eating enough carbs can be especially bad for people who are prone to depression. Eat fruit and green veggies to get your recommended daily carb intake so that you don't end up constipated or depressed.
