Fresh or canned green beans (2 cans or about 2 bunches of fresh)
can of diced tomatoes (Italian style is best)
garlic (fresh is best, but you can use garlic salt or powder)
black pepper
Step1
Put green beans in a pot about 1/2 full. Add 1 can of diced tomatoes, a tsp. (or 1 clove to pick out when done) of garlic (powder or jarred), and about 4 dashes of black pepper.
Step2
Bring to boil, and then simmer until desired tenderness! DON'T DRAIN! Use draining spoon so you get the tomatoes with the green beans!!!
Step3
That's it! And soooo delicious!!! ENJOY! :)
Tips & Warnings
I prefer the Italian canned, diced tomatoes. Your choice!
Keep an eye on the beans! Don't OVERCOOK! When they reach "YOUR" DESIRED CONSISTENCY (some like a bit harder...I like to slide off of fork), you're DONE!

This recipe also works well with the italian bigger flat green beans, and my recipe calls for some parm cheese grated on at serving...as Rach would say...yum
