Step1

For Social Security recipients the IRS is supposed to send packets containing forms for filing.

Step2

If you do not get a packet here is what you should do:
1- Get a regular form 1040A and write Economic Stimulus Payment across the top. Fill in name, SSN, and address.
2- Go to line 14A and put the amount of social security received in 2007. SSA sent each recipient an annual statement showing the total amount received in 2007. If you do not still have that statement just take the monthly amount from last year and multiply times 12.
3- Sign on the back.
4- Mail to the same address all other returns are mailed to from your state.
5- Do this before April 15th.
6- You can get a Form 1040A off the Internet, or at the post office.

Wait for your check to come, follow the mailing dates below if you want to know when they will be mailed out.
