You want to find somewhere that is peaceful and away from any chaos if possible. It works best if you can find somewhere comfortable to lay down.

Next, try and think of a place you wish that you where at. Somewhere warm, somewhere tropical. Where ever you want to go. I know it sounds corny but this really works.
Step3
The last step is where the work begins. Starting with your baby toe move through every single part of your body relaxing each part completely before moving to the next.
Tips & Warnings
This is not as easy as you might think. Sometimes it is very difficult to keep your focus on relaxing and not on other things. I would say that that is the hardest part. Also once you have moved on to the next body part forget about the last one and leave it relaxed. This method leaves in a very tranquil state.
Make sure that you don't have much going on after you use this method. The reason being most of the time that I use this method by the time I am done I am ready to fall asleep.
