How to Promote your Writing or Business on MySpace

With more than a million people registered, MySpace has become the place for people to come together from all over the world and communicate. But if you love writing or have a business that you wish you could promote, you can do so on MySpace without anyone ever knowing any real personal information about you.

Things You’ll Need:

• MySpace account
• Articles or website you wish to promote

1. If you don't have one already, create a new MySpace account. Add whatever you want to your profile and if you want it to be private, go to edit settings and under the privacy tab click on friends only. Your friends will be the only one to view your profile.
2. Go to your Manage Blog. Here is where you will post your links to your articles or website. When you add a new post, you can make the post public without making your MySpace profile public.
3. Just change your profile picture of you, if you don't want people to have a face with the articles and or website you are promoting. This could be better because people can decide whether they like your articles because they are good or only because they like to see your MySpace profile picture.
4. Once you decide whether you want everyone in the world to see your articles, you can keep posting and you can allow comments from people on MySpace so that you can see what they write about you.

Tips & Warnings

• There will be a lot of people searching the site for contents to read, so if you make your articles or website public, you could get a lot more views in one day.
