Windows Movie Maker is a great tool for making videos and slideshows of your favorite memories. When you want to import video files, just follow these steps.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • A PC
  • Video files

Step1
Open Windows Movie Maker. Click on "File" and scroll down to click "Import Into Collections."
Step2
From here, find the file that you want to bring into Windows Movie Maker and select it.
Step3
Depending on the size of the file, it may take a few minutes to load into the program. If it's a big file, it will be broken into separate clips but they will download in the original order.
Step4
Once all the clips appear, click and drag them down onto the timetable, and they will be in your project.
