How to Start a New Game File of Super Mario Sunshine

1. Turn on the game and press 'Start' to bypass the opening story, or watch the opening story if you like. Once at the title menu, press 'Start' again.

2. Move Mario under the A, B, or C, box. Press 'A' on your controller.

3. If all three boxes are saved games and you want to start a new game, select 'erase' by pressing 'A.' It will ask you if you're sure you'd like to erase, so select yes and press 'A' again.

4. Jump again under the box and select 'Start.' From here, you will have to sit through a long story introduction, but then you'll be on your way!
