Deciding to be a Team Leader for AmeriCorps*NCCC is one of the most fulfilling, exciting, and nerve-wracking things you can do. Making the decision is the big step; applying for the program is a piece of cake after that. Here is how to apply.

• Letters of Recommendation

1. Go to www.americorps.gov and click on the words "AmeriCorps*NCCC."
2. Scroll down the page and click on the "Learn about becoming an AmeriCorps*NCCC Team Leader" link if you haven't already done so to read more about the position. If you have already done your research, click on the "Click here to start the application process" link.
3. On the following page, bypass the fields where you enter your information and click the "Search" link.
4. Click on the "Team Leader" link for the fall or winter, depending on when you're ready to serve.
5. Click "Apply Now." You will be prompted to open an account with "My AmeriCorps" which will take you the rest of the way through the application process.
