These are some delicious empanadas that everyone I know raves about.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1lb of ground beef
  • adobo
  • 1 large green pepper
  • 1 medium onion
  • empanada shells
  • oil
  1. Step 1
     

    Brown ground beef in a skillet.

  2. Step 2
     

    Chop up green pepper into small peices and dice onion. Add to browned beef.

  3. Step 3
     

    Season to taste with adobo.

  4. Step 4

    Pull apart empanada shells. Place shell on a plate and add a few spoonfuls of the meat mixture to the shell. Fold in half and close with a fork. And repeat filling all empanda shells and closing them.

  5. Step 5

    Heat oil in a skillet until very hot. Add formed empandas to hot oil and cook until golden brown.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can add cheese to empandas if you like
  • Serve with salsa or sour cream if desired
