make cheesy garlic mashed potatoes.

These potatoes are one of my kids favorites.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 5lbs potatoes
  • milk
  • half a stick of butter
  • garlic salt
  • one cup of shredded mild cheddar cheese
  • pepper
  1. Step 1

Wash and peel potatoes and cut into small peices.

  2. Step 2

Boil potatoes in a big pot until soft then drain out water.

  3. Step 3

Use a mixer and mix potatoes, small ammount of milk, and butter until desired consistency. (my kids like them a little lumpy).

  4. Step 4

Layer garlic salt, pepper and cheese on top of potatoes, then mix. Repeat this step 4 times. You can add more garlic salt, pepper, or cheese to taste.

Tips & Warnings
  • Do not use too much milk as it makes the potatoes runny when used with cheese.
  • You can top potatoes once on plate with a little shredded cheddar and oregano to give it a pretty appearance.
