For the dedicated food enthusiast shark meat offers a chance to cement your position at the top of the food chain. If you are fortunate enough to live in an area with retailers who carry the king of the fish this a hard to pass opportunity for your grill.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 or more steak cuts of shark meat
  • Lemon Juice
  • Dark (anejo) rum
  • coarse ground black pepper
  • tarragon
  • cilantro
  1. Step 1

Gather your ingredients together, and give yourself some area for preparation.

  2. Step 2

Mix equal parts of lemon juice and rum in a small bowl, and add the seasonings. Cover the steak or steaks with the mix.

  3. Step 3

Heat up you grill to a medium low temperature. When the the grill is heated you may put the steaks on and grill until you can gently flake off meat from the edge with a fork.

  4. Step 4

Serve and eat the steaks. A rice dish and local vegetables would make excellent sides, and the steak would pair well with a bold red wine like a Chianti or Cabernet.
