1. To turn your firewall on or off in XP follow these simple instructions.
2. Go to Start → Settings → Control Panel
3. In the control panel, click on Windows Firewall.
4. Here you can turn your firewall on or off. You can also set up exceptions.

Tips & Warnings

• It is always a good idea to leave your firewall on unless you are asked to turn it off to run a certain program.
