We all know how hard it is to get our kids to eat right and exercise. Not every child is that perfect child that listens so carefully to what you say and replies yes mother. After consulting Doctor's and counselors and being a fitness trainer myself, I can tell you, there are some things you can do.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • food
  • music
  • patience
  • willpower
  • cheap sports equipment

Step1
no sugary drinks First things first our kids love kool-aid, soda and any sugary drink they can get a hold of. Most schools sale them at lunch time. Did you know lots of juice is not good for our children too. It contains almost as much sugar. They need water, getting them to drink it is another thing all together. Some flavored waters though have Nutrasweet and others things bad for them. But if we look there are flavored waters out there 100% all natural. Unfortunately they can be expensive. Some might be able to afford it and others may not. But we all know we do what we can for our children. So you can buy water bottles, filter the water (or not your choice) and use flavoring to add to it. Some stores carry syrups to flavor with. You could also try juicing real fruit and adding a splash to the water, Use your imagination.
Step2
fruit and yogurt salad As for snacks, you can take bananas and dip them in yogurt and add sprinkles if you like. Or take a banana and cut it in half and from top to bottom and spread peanut butter on the insides and put back together. You could also try ants on a log, for those that don't know what that is I'll explain. celery sticks with peanut butter spread in the grove and raisins put on top. Just remember to get a kid to eat something is to hide how healthy it is, ha. Dress it up and make it look tasty. Don't have sweets lying around that your child will be tempted by, instead always have healthy snacks prepared.
Step3
different sports for different kids BE ACTIVE!! There are a lot of kids as well as adults that eat out of boredom. My daughter is one as well. Try doing things together, playing cards, dancing (learn the cha cha slide, cupid shuffle, or electric slide or show them old dances and have them teach you new ones), baseball, basketball, our favorites: soccer and field hockey. Gets your blood pumping as well as theirs and keeps their mind off food. For the late night snacker, that's when playing cards, games, and scrap booking comes in handy. Also the exercises on my other article can be done with children as well. The article name is how to lose weight and inches quickly.
Step4
Take a picture of them in the beginning, but don't tell them why. You will keep this picture so that in a few weeks when you take another picture you and your child will notice a difference in how they look physically and feel emotionally.
